parental rights and adoption

i've been seperated from my x for two years. my x hasn't (by his choice)seen nor paid for anything for my child.i'm married for 1 year now and my husband has been raising and supporting my child for two years, and now wants to adopt him. my x refuses to do anything for my child.yet won't sign the waiver for termination of parental rights.can i force him to?

You can't force him but the court can terminate his rights by law. Contact an attorney regarding that procedure.
