Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Are parents liable for actions of an 18 yr old son?
Our son turned 18 yrs old ( legally an adult ) today and we plan to take him off of our family car insurance policy. If we title the car in his name and he obtains his own car insurance policy, would the parents be held liable if he gets into an accident? Is he liable for his own actions if he gets into any kind of trouble with the law?

you are not responsible if driving his own car.
