trying to be a part of baby's life!

my son filed petition for paternity & then motioned for final hearing.ex-girlfiends lawyer canceled hearing.what can he do? does he just have to keep motioning for hearing & hope the judge will finally deny cancellation?we all want to see baby since it has been 9 months & baby is only 13 months old.

You son needs an attorney, who can talk to the judicial assistant, and coordinate a date with the ex's attorney. There is no reason the date should keep getting canceled, but unfortunately, there is a "system" to everything, and it's hard to work the system pro se.
