Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Paternity agreement

The father of my daughter filed for custody. We were never married. We signed an agreement for joint custody. He has been in jail for 3 months for dui and I no longer wish to agree to the paper and would like to recieve full custody for my daughter. Everytime a hearing comes to finalize the agreement and make it an order, his lawyer cancels it. I just want to unsign the paper and let the judge know he's in jail.

Re: Paternity agreement

You should seek custody, set the hearing before the judge and not agree to any continuances.
