paternity

if a woman hid a child from me and i found out tried to get half custody and or visitation am i responsible for back child support

Potentially, you could be assessed retroactive support dating back two years from the filing date of her petition for support. Retroactive support is discretionary. And while normally retroactive is awarded, your particular circumstance, providing you could prove that she concealed herself and the child, might persuade the court not to award retroactive support.
