Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex is to pay me alimony on the first of each month. He pays it at the end of the month just to make me mad. I was told to fill out a form Motion for civil Contempt/Enforcement to have it taken out of his ck and sent to me, that i could just do it myself without hiring a lawyer. What is the best thing for me to do?

You can do so, but is it worth it when he does pay every month, but is just late? I doubt it

It's always best to have a lawyer and I never recommend "going it alone", but, if you want to do this yourself, you can find the form at http://flcourts.org/gen_public/family/forms_rules/960.pdf.

Don't spin your wheels. The man is paying the alimony. If he becomes extremely late, then you can ask for an Order of Deduction. I doubt you would win at this point.
