Do you think it's necessary to pay an attorney for visitation purposes. I haven't seen my daughter in almost a year.

It really just depends on your particular circumstances. You might start by contacting the other parent and requesting visitation. If that doesn't work, you can either hire an attorney, or you can try to petition the court for visitation on your own.
