Do I have to pay 50% of childs expense regardless
My ex insists I should pay for all my son's expenses, including his vacations with him. Am I responsible for paying for 50% of my son's vacation with his Dad and 50% of my son's flight to visit his paternal grandfather to go hunting, as well as 50% of hunting licenses? I'm not asked to make decisions, but am expected to pay bills, this doesn't seem fair.

In response, since I do not have all the facts, nor have I seen any court order, this is not a formal legal opinion. But as an overview of Fla. law, I submit the following:
You say "ex', so I assume you were divorced. If not, you have no legal obligation to pay form. Husb. anything. If there is a Final Judgment--Divorcing you, see what it says r.e.: child's expenses. I have never seen a F.J. that required such expenses to be shared. 'Hope this helps. Tom Rosenblum

Without a court order you are not required to do anything. You may chnose to do what you believe is appropriate.
