We need to start with the Agreement or Judgment regarding alimony.

Meet with an attorney who can review the order/judgment in your case, determine the type of alimony and advise as to whether you would be able to modify based on the circumstances you have described.

Note that moving in with a boyfriend by itself would not cause a reduction unless there is a supportive relationship with the boyfriend and your ex. The court will determine whether there is a supportive relationship based on the evidence you are able to put forward such evidence will include factors such as whether they are pooling assets, whether he is financially supporting her. etc.

THe salary reduction is a basis to reduce the alimony, the boyfriend could also be a basis if you can prove a supportive relationship. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659
