Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am paying child support for two children. Part of what I pay each month is for arrears that I owe. I live in Florida and the children live in Ohio. Can they still take my tax refund even if I am paying on the arrears, and paying 400+ a month in child support?

Yes they can. Also do no file married if you have remarried. File married but separate. Otherwise they will also take that share that belong to your spouse.

If there is an outstanding child support arrearage owed, then they do have the right to take your refund up to the dollar amount of the arrearage.
