Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Permanet Alimony & Social Security

What does permanet aliminony mean? The exact phrase is ''the Husband shall pay the Wife Permanent Periodic Alimony in the amount of ... every two weeks when Husband is paid by his employer. What happens when a person retires, does he still have to pay alimony? Or if the ex-spouse is collecting social security first, is he responsible to continue to pay alimony?
