Personal Injury suit - Do I have rights to portion of settlement

I recently received a maritial settlement agreement from my husband of 21 years. He had an automobile accident in 2000 in the state of NC. Do I have rights to a portion of this settlement which he is to receive at the end of June? And if

so, am I entitled automatically or do I need to petition for this?

If you had an action in the lawsuit for loss of services you are entitled to proceeds. Contact his lawyer.
