Petioning to add a father

When my twins were born, I was

married but seperated for over 5

years from my ex who refused a

divorce. The biological father was

never added to birth cert. My ex

husband has since passed away, so

how do I add the twins father to the

birth cert.? The twins were born in

New York, but we now live in Florida

You would have to find out from the State of New York what their procedures are. When you do, you can then apply for an Amended Birth Certificate or Birth Record.
