Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Can I petition my daughters father in state of FLorida for termination of his parental rights? He has left the state and went to oklahoma he does pay his child support and has for maybe 3 months now (she is 14 months old) but only because he is being garnished, he has never had anything to do with her since her birthand he also has no visitation rights now. If I can petition him how do I go about doing so?

Though it may sound like a lot of time to you, 14 months is probably not long enough to be away from a child to be considered "abandonment" sufficient to terminate parental rights. For that amount of time, if he shows up in court or in any way objects to the termination, his rights will not be terminated. Also remember that, if you terminate his rights, child support stops.
If you want to go forward, you should get a lawyer's help.
