Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Poor Service and Follow-up
My lawyer has filed for a withdrawal from representing me in a nasty divorce situation. I have repeatedly ask for information, guidance, etc,, and have always had to hear excuses why my emails, phone calls were not answered in a timely manner. She always stated some excuse or she had to take care of her kids. Can I report her for denying me my rights as a client according to our initial agreement?

You could, but it probably won't get you anywhere but into a pi--ing match with her. It certainly won't help your case. Your best bet is to move on and find a good lawyer that you can work well with that can represent you properly.

Is this about moneys owed?
I would go over the initial agreement with a fine tooth comb and re-check the attorney's and your obligations. Take the initial agreement to your new attorney and he/she can find out for you. Be swift.
