Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
If one possesses property of another, how does one return it to the rightful owner without said owner pressing charges?
Personal papers belonging a divorced spouse (old stock certificates belonging to owner's father) were found recently in a box of other documents. The divorce took place over 10 years ago. The divorced spouse had created legal problems before and could decide to press charges. What do I need to do to prevent that occurrence while returning the property in question?
