How do i become the power of attorney of my deceased husbands assets?

You probably mean "personal representative" since the person is no longer alive. The answer is: you petition the probate court. If there was a will in which your husband named a PR, the court will first go according to the will.

A person must sign over power of attorney so once a person passes away they cannot give someone power of attorney. You need to open probate. You should contact a Florida Probate attorney for assistance.
