Pre Divorce/split up
Wife wants to move away from husban with two kids to a new home. What is best way for both husban and wife to achieve this end without husban being liable on the note??

1. Enter into either a dissolution agreement or a temporary agreement pending dissolution stating that the husband will not be responsible for that debt.
Plus
2. Have the wife refinance in her name only.
If this was marital debt (you got the mortgage while married), you must do both.
