Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Pre-nuptial agreement

In the state of Florida, if I would sign a pre-nuptial agreement stating I am entitled to nothing only if I initiate divorce for any reason other than abuse, how specific should I be in the wording and is the agreement less binding as time goes by as it is in Australia.....

Thank you so much..

It is a blessing to be able to have a service like this......

Re: Pre-nuptial agreement

This is imposible to answer without looking at the proposed document. In my opinion any pre-nuptial agreement is extremely dangerous and I would strongly encourage you to speak with a local attorney before making any decision. Good Luck.

Re: Pre-nuptial agreement

You should seek the assistance of counsel on such an important matter. To give advise regarding part of an overall agreement would be a disservice to you. The entire agreement must be reviewed.

What interpretation it would be given is Australia merely interposes additional problems. To answer that aspect, I would consult with a soliciter there. I do know a few in Sydney.
