Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Prenuptual agreement

2nd marriage - fiancee is business owner asking me to sign pre nup regarding business and house which he owns and is paid for. What should I put into the prenup to protect myself in case of divorce or death. I don't own a house. Iwould like a guarantee of a place to live if divorce happens and alimony. Should that be in pre nup??

Re: Prenuptual agreement

Your answer is contained in your question. Where else would it come from. Insurance could take care of death.

Re: Prenuptual agreement

I normally give advice to questions; however in this case you need good legal advice and not a quickie piece of advice based on no knowledge of your full situation. If this is not worth seeing an attorney about, it is just not important enough to you.

Good luck.

Re: Prenuptual agreement

You need proper representation before you sign anything. A life estate in his home is a good first idea.
