Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have primary custody of my children there father has visitation rights every other wk Court ordered but he's sees them more often than that. I recently filled a case for relocation to move out of state. My attorney told me to limit his seeing them all the time with school starting so that they may have a regular schedule. He did not like this and he now threatend me that he wants to file for joint of full custody this way he won't have to pay child support. Whuich he does'nt pay. Can he do this if so will it be a separate case ? I want to move to better myself and my kids situation but now I'm scared that not only I won't get to move but I will also loose having my kids fulltime.

Relocating kids is very, very difficult in Florida. If your lawyer tells you to do something, do it. If you think your lawyer is wrong, go sit down with another lawyer and explain your entire situation. If you defy your lawyer, you will likely ruin your chances to relocate. Don't do anything based on a posting on a free, internet-based question board.
