Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I have primary custody of my son. His biological mother is not in his life or cares to be. She is to sign her rights away to me, but doesn't know how. What does she need to do to sign her rights away? She doesn't work so she doesn't have money for a lawyer.

You have to file a petition to terminate parental rights. Use of a lawyer is recommended in this case.

You need to speak with an attorney ASAP. There are limited situations where you can proceed as proposed.
