pro bono work for custody of childeren filed by maternial grandmother
daughter abandoned her two childeren one an austic boy now age three over a year ago.......she birthed a female child in the local homeless shelter seven months ago..kept her with her untill she was thrown out of the homeless shelter three months ago.....left girl child with me also and has been in south florida. She has lived off of her sons child support for about two years as she has not worked untill two weeks ago......she has mental problems and is off her meds and threatening to take the childeren back into what was a abusive situation of the older one.
We need legal help ...........senior citizen on very limited income..........

Unfortunately, what you want probably can't be done on a "very limited income." You need a good family lawyer, and "good" usually means "expensive."
Once you get that "good" family lawyer, he or she will assist you in filing a complicated lawsuit called a Chapter 39 action, which will allow you to get custody of the children because of your daughter's abuse and neglect of the kids.

You might also want to contact the Florida Bar or the County Bar Assoc., where you live, for some "pro bono" work.
I agree this sounds more like a Dependency action than anything else. It sounds like your daughter really needs couselling and services in place to help her to be a good and nuturing parent which is what I am sure you want also.
