Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I think I might have a problem starting in 2011. My ex is going to go part time where he and his new wife works..He will try and have his child support and alimony modified. If I found out he might have another job and he has free housing, and lies to the court will they let him still modify the support???Please answer so I will have time to hire a good attorney who doesn't like liars...

If your ex is voluntarily decreasing work hours and it's not because there are no hours available at work, the Court will consider this as a deliberate attempt on his end to manipulate his child support obligation. Also if he receives free housing and indicates he pays rent, if you have the paperwork to support that he in fact receives free housing you can bring this up to the Court's attention. You have a strong argument to counter his attempts to modify child support and alimony.
