Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

What is the procedure to get a portion of my former spouses retirement. He is employed by FAA. I believe it was a part of the divorce decree. We were married for 9 years.

would have to read your divorce decree. nine years is not really considered a marriage of long duration. if your divorce document did not state that you were entitled to his FAA retirement then you are NOT entitled.
