What procedures do I have to take to get a divorce after being separated for 44 years? Married in Florida in 1968, residing in Georgia since 1971

I assume that with a 44 year separation that all property and liabilities have long since been divided.

I agree with Mr. Slater. It would probably make more sense to file locally in GA.

Where is the spouse and if she is in Florida will she give up jurisidiction? If not, file in Florida and have her consent.
