Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Proof of Residency

If my husband has lived in Florida 6 months, but I have not is there something that can be presented to the court stating that I can file for divorce with his approval, based on his being a residence for 6 months?

Re: Proof of Residency

Depending upon where you live, you may want to check with a local Family Law attorney with respect to this question. Residency is certainly an important aspect of the Dissolution requirements. You may want to call our office and talk with one of our Family Law attorneys if this is relevant to S.W. Florida.
