Property Abandonment

My ex husband left the household in Sept 2008, our divorce was final in June 2009. He still has stuff in the house, yard and garage that I can't get him to collect, books, junk cars, etc. How much time do I have to give him to move them before I can legally dispose of them as abandoned items.

There is no legal deadline. You should send him a certified letter (and also send it by regular mail) giving him 30 days to pick up his stuff or you will sell it or otherwise dispose of it.
