Property -divorce couple

A husband and wife buy a house, later get a divorce and the house is awarded to the wife in the settlement. She abandons the property and the husband moves in and pays the property off in full. He becomes ill and is admitted to the hospital/long term care facility. Does the wife now have full ownership if the property?
