property rights

Two people...Not married, but living together ,bought a house , put in one persons name (his),and the other one put up down payment(her). they have lived together for 4years , all bills were split down the middle, now the one that the houses name is in(him) ,told the other to get out. does she have any rights? or claims on the house legally?

You are in a difficult situation, but not impossible. Your claim of an interest in the house should be based on your implicit understanding with him that you were investing with him in the property because of your living arrangement, that it was put into his name because (fill in what the reason was), that it was not a gift, etc. You are advised to consult with a local attorney who can advise you re asserting your claim. It won't be easy because 1) you have no written agreement; 2) you are not married to him; gather your documentation and names of persons who can confirm the living arrangement and understanding between you and him.
