how to protect my daughter from domestic abuse

This is ongoing for 7 years. Daughter is 8 I have full custody. Dad has been in and out of visitation center due to domestic violence against current wife. She has filed another restraining order. Can I have something done on a permanent basis? After 7 years it is clear his behavior is not going to change.

Yes, you can and should seek a modification of the visitation Order if there is one. You can ask the court to remove visitation altogether or some other remedy.
