Can I get a restraining order to keep my wife's boyfriend from having contact with our child?

Yes, if he's committed a crime against your child, like assault, battery, stalking, sex abuse, etc. You may also be able to get an order from the family court prohibiting your wife (if you have a divorce or separation pending) from bringing your child around the boyfriend if he has something in his background that should keep him from children.
