Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

How to prove I am not the father

What is the best way to prove I am not the father of a child who is getting social security payments as I am on social security disability. I have sent letters from a doctor stating I am sterile and no way could I father a child but social security or the state of Fl will not accept this. I can not afford a lawyer, but I have talked to a couple and they don't really want anything to do with it. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You

You mighht want to contact your county Legal Aid office. It should be possible to file a Paternity action to establish non-parentage. Good Luck.

I support the advise you received from the prior answer. DNA testing is the only certain prrof of non-paternity. But non-paternity may not prevent the mother from receiving government aid.
