Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I purchased property in South Carolina during our marriage, and gifted it to my daughter during the marriage. Husband is now attempting to sue me in a divorce for half of the property value, claiming I "sold" it illegally.
what are the Florida laws concerning this issue?

Need more info? How long has your daughter had the property. What was the value. Is this not his child as well. Depending on the answers will determine how the courts will handle this issue. If you bought the property with funds that were no comingled in the marriage - he has no case but you will have to prove where those funds came from.
