Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My question is about Alimony revision. I have been divorced 1 year and am forced to pay Alimony in the amount of $600/month for 5 years to my ex-husband. My salary is approximately $65000, his $35000, I have majority custody of our child 4days/wk and pay her daycare and health insurance and I receive no child support from him. I have recently found out he will be moving in with his girlfriend who he has been with since before we were divorced. I know the laws recently changed and cohabitation is a consideration for Alimony reduction. Is there a certain amount of time that they have to live together before I can file. Do his new living expenses have to be significantly different if so how do I prove this. If I file and then he moves out to avoid losing Alimony is it all null and void.

I need to see the terms of your alimony. If it is a set sum paid over time this may not be modifiable for any reason so I need to review your documents. Contact my office for free consultation.
