Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Hi. I have a question about child support and my obligations. My daughter is 20 years old. I give her spending money while she is in college every month, and i am responsible for paying 1/2 of her medical bills and prescriptions, which I do, every month. She has recently started seeing a chiropractor 2x a week for a sudden back problem (by the way she is about 75 lbs overweight). the chiropractor just keeps having her come in for adjustments weekly, at a large cost to me. Is a chiropractor considered a necessary medical procedure that I have to pay for? Especially when she should try to be losing weight first? Where do you draw the line on what is "necessary" and what is not? Thank you for your time.

Why are you paying for a 20 year old? Most child support obligations stop at 18 and/or 19 if graduating from high school late. Chiropractor is not considered by most insurance companies as a medical expense. If yours does not - then I suggest you stop paying.
Read your divorce document and be sure that you are required to be paying this. If child support stopped at 18 and/or 19, then you are done.
