Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Question regarding child support.
I am currently ordered to pay child support for my 4 year old daughter, and have a son from another woman. I pay about $375 a month for my daughter. Although I am not on support for my son I give her the same amount. If I were ordered to pay support for my son would it be more or less than what I pay now? Would the courts calculate my daughters support obligation into my deductible income?

Depending on your situation, you should have mentioned to the court in your financial affidavit that you have another child that you are also paying support for. since there is no order to show for that, they did not take it into consideration. I suggest you get an established order in place for both children - the amount will be reduced due to the fact that you are already paying for one child.
When calculating the support for your son the court would factor in what you pay already for the daughter, it would come off the top of your net income. Contact my office for free consultation.
