Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I received the legal papers for my divorce and noted that the verbiage/facts are incorrect. It states that the marital home and furnishings where sold prior to the filing of the complaint for divorce. THIS is not true and can be proved not true. In addition the Plaintiff makes more money than I do, but the ruling is awarding her spousal support and 73% of my pension. Crazy. I would like to object the ruling, but need to understand the proper way to go about this and I am wondering if I begin with untrue facts since that sticks out like a soar thumb. As an added note. I now live in Florida. The divorce was held in Ohio where Plaintiff still resides. Kind regards, John Morrison

You need to IMMEDIATELY retain counsel in Ohio.
You must contact Ohio attorney. Florida attorney or Florida court will not get involved. All states have time limits to object, you must act quick or if the time expires you lose your right to object or appeal.
