Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I just received a letter requesting i show for a dna test. A girl i dated briefly about a year ago told me she was pregnant at about 3-4 months. I wasnt sure i beleived her and she wouldnt let me go to a doctor with her. We looked into abortion and she avoided it then she said if she had it she would put it up for adoption. I still didnt fully believe her based on some crazy behavior. I have had no contact for about 6 months and now this. She obviously decided to hide it all, keep me away but now had it and kept it. Now wants this. What are my options and responsibilities?

You can file a paternity case to obtain custody or visitation, assuming the child turns out to be yours. If you don't get custody, you'll be required to pay child suppport.
