i'm recently divorced. There is a judgment saying my name is restored to my maiden name. Do I legally have to change my name?

Do you not want to change your name legally? If not, then the Final Judgment probably should not have included that language. However, you would need a certified copy of the Final Judgment to change your name on your driver's license, social security card, etc.

The Final Judgment is the name change. If it is not worded correctly then it needs to be redone. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659.
