Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I have recently divorced my wife. She has recently filed contempt charges against me post-divorce claiming I am not living up to some parts of the agreement. I was served last week and have twenty days to respond to the court. I am currently searching for an attorney, and am preparing a response that indicates such. My question is how do I format the response to the court saying I am currently looking for an attorney? furthermore, is there a deadline for retaining an attorney after I respond to the court?

Carolyn Jones Law Office of Carolyn R. Jones

Why don't you hire an attorney and have them ask for more time to file a response. Generally a attorney can ask for more time as they need that time to get up to speed. When is your response due? If you need more help please feel free to call the office 904-442-7523.
