Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Refiling petition after withdrawing

I withdrew my uncontested dissolution of marriage petition last month to work things out with spouse. Now I want to refile the petition. Are there any restrictions against refiling a petition after having it withdrawn just a short time ago? I live in Florida.

The Clerk of Court handles the fee situation. If you paid the filing fee and now want to "re-open" the case, you may have to pay again. If case was not "closed", then you my be able to revive it. Call the Clerk's Office.
