Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Refused Visitation

The mother of my 4 year old daughter (out of wedlock) refuses to let me see her. I have paid to the penny court ordered child support. We have both since married and my wife and I have just been able to afford an attorney- it has been a year since I have seen my daughter- I can only mail gifts for holidays. She is going to fight me in court on this matter- I believe she wants her husband to adopt. Can I possibly be refused visitation rights?

Re: Refused Visitation

FLORIDA LAW: Your ex-wife does not have the right to refuse visitation. Judges do not look favorably on residential parents who refuse the other parent visitation. If you have any further questions, please free to contact me. Melody Stickel-Martnez, Esq. (954)437-5968
