releasing legal rights and custody

i am being charged child support and i cannot pay- no job- i would like to give up my rights. will that take away the child support i am supposed to pay and how do i go about starting this process

If your father's rights are terminating, your child support going forward will be terminated as well (back support is not discharged). The catch is, though, that you can't just give up your children. The mother would have to be remarried and her new husband would have to agree to adopt before a judge would agree to terminate your rights.
