Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Relocation

In original MSA, shared legal custody granted and I was named primary custodial parent. Subsequently, court approved relocation. In general, when a court approves relocation (it was a 1200 mile move)... is the court in effect changing legal custody or are you expected to consult on all decisions?

Ex is not involved, so it's not really an issue currently. I am curious about what relocation means as far as custody (other than the obvious) and what is expected. Is the court in essence granting sole custody with such a move?

Re: Relocation

Granting relocation has no effect on shared parenting. Parents must still share in all decisions such as schools, doctors, religions, etc., just as if they lived nearby.
