Another Relocation Question

If my ex-husband has moved more than 50 miles away from his children, and to another state, do I still have to petition the court in order to relocate with the children to another state?

Yes, but your odds of winning are significantly increased. You don't petition first, you send the notice first. If he doesn't respond to the notice in 30 days, you can move. If he responds and objects, you'll have to file the petition.
