Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Wasnt sure where to reply to your answer: The cousin is in his late 30's but my child has only been under his direct care for about 5 months. My son receives SSI because of his Sickle Cell. He also had a childhood accident that caused he to have several strokes leaving him semi paralized even after rehab. He is still pretty much independent as far as doing for himself but he is in remedial class. I was considering filing a motion because I dont think he is competent enough to make that decision. I feel he is being coached into what to say or being threatened by his cousin. The only reason his cousin wants to keep him is for financial reasons.

Then you need to seek custody of your child. I suggest you file a Petition for Custody.
