Replying to a Summons
In order to reply to a summons from the Highland County Court, must I have it notarized if I prepare my reponse myself?

No; however, an answer to a summons is important and in most cases, you should be represented by an attorney. At least, you are advised to consult with an attorney, which often is without charge, to determine whether you may benefit from legal representation.

In a word...."no". It is not necessary to have your signature notarized on an Answer to a Complaint in the State of Florida.
