Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

request to move out of state

my husband and i would like to move out of state to have a better life and also be near family. we spoke to my exhusband and offered him all of the summer vaction, all of winter vaction, and all of spring break with us paying for transportation cost for our 8yr. old son. he denied the offer. now i have a log that i have kept of his track record as far as visitation and child support...it is not a very good track record. several times the court has had to force him to pay and also, he shows for visitation whenever he wants. also, we have done extended research on the area where we want to move....the cost of living, the schools, the crime rate, the real estate costs all are much, much better than this area. how good are my chances of winning this case without a lawyer? i have searched for a lawyer that will take this case probono, how good are my chances of finding one? my exhusband wants to keep son here and raise him.

thank you so much

Re: request to move out of state

Suggest you seek court order modification for permission to relocate. Good luck.
