in a case of child support case in state of florida, can a non custodial parent ask for the reduction in child support payment due to his age at and retirement?

at what age this would be effective ?

There must be a substantial change in circumstances to warrant an upward or downward modification in child support. The non custodial parent can request the downward modification. Based upon the limited facts which you provided, it appears that you have a case for downward modification. However, more information would be required to make a final analysis.
